How Life and Religion go together.
There are lots of times when you might feel 'thankful' or 'in wonder' or 'sad'. Where do these feelings go? Often, the everyday events of life can be brought into the company of God.
We bless houses for example, asking God to be with those who are moving in. We can bless boats, letting God know that we would like the people who sail in them to be kept safe. The list is almost endless. At St. John's we like to do this a lot. In the normal Sunday Eucharist, people who are sick are able to receive a blessing. People who are going on holiday receive a travel blessing too. These pictures show some of the ways that we have helped peole bring their deepest feelings into the company of God.
